Vivo Claims to Manufacture 5 Crore Handsets by Investing 4000 Cr. in India
जयपुर : चीनी हैंडसेट निर्माता वीवो आने वाले वर्षों में भारत में 4,000 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का निवेश करेगी, कंपनी के एक अधिकारी ने कहा।
कंपनी ने अब तक देश में 400 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश किया है। नोएडा में मौजूदा विनिर्माण संयंत्र हर साल 2.5 करोड़ मोबाइल फोन बनाने की पूरी क्षमता से काम कर रहा है।

Vivo Claims to Manufacture 5 Crore
बढ़ती मांग के मद्देनजर, कंपनी आने वाले समय में 4,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश करेगी और मांग को पूरा करने के लिए ग्रेटर नोएडा में एक नया कारखाना स्थापित करेगी, निपुण मेरी, निदेशक - ब्रांड रणनीति, विवो इंडिया ने यहां एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन में संवाददाताओं से कहा।
उन्होंने कहा कि कंपनी चरणबद्ध तरीके से राशि का निवेश करेगी। नई फैक्ट्री चालू होने के बाद कंपनी की विनिर्माण क्षमता बढ़कर 5 करोड़ मोबाइल फोन हो जाएगी।

मीरा ने कहा कि भारतीय मोबाइल हैंडसेट बाजार में वीवो की बाजार हिस्सेदारी 21.2 प्रतिशत है और यह देश के ऑफलाइन बाजार में दूसरा सबसे बड़ा मोबाइल ब्रांड है।
उन्होंने कहा कि कंपनी अपने किसी भी मौजूदा मोबाइल फोन की बिक्री को रोकने की योजना नहीं बना रही है और कहा कि यह भारतीय बाजार के लिए दो नए हैंडसेट पर काम कर रही है।
कंपनी ने राजस्थान में अपना नया 'एस सीरीज़' फोन वीवो एस 1 भी पेश किया जिसकी कीमत 17,999 रुपये से शुरू होती है।
